Have you ever given love and not had it returned? Then you know how a Pug who comes to rescue must feel. We are in need of foster homes who are willing to love and spoil a rescue pug. Foster families don't require any special talents or training, only a willingness to help pugs in transition. We want you to love your foster pug, and treat them just like your pug or pugs, because rescue pugs need a lot of love. They are scared and confused, and are greatly comforted by the safe and loving environment you can provide. . If you are interested in becoming a foster family for pugs in need, please e mail Anna

Not
all Pugs we rescue are adoptable, largely due to their age or
medical condition. We want these pugs to find care and love in a
home where they are not just temporary guests but part of the
family. It takes special people to open their hearts and homes to
these animals with special needs, and sometimes the financial burden
of their care can become overwhelming. Because of this, we have
developed an alternative program, called Hospice, to assist with
these expenses. This program will ensure these animals will receive
the best care available in their remaining time with us. Pug Rescue
of Memphis will assume financial responsibility for the medical cost
of these animals, leaving the family free to provide the care and
love they need. In spite of everything, these Pugs are full of
sp
irit and
character, and are inspiration to us all.

If you would like information on this program and would consider
opening your heart and home please email

Whereas there is sorrow from the emptiness we feel at their loss,
there is also joy in remembering how much they touched our lives,
and how very much they loved and were loved.
