Wiggles
is
about 3-4 years old and is a tiny 11 lbs. She wandered up to
someone's yard in Cordova on 11-29-09. They contacted Linda Money and
she called me. I called Madeline Mad Dog Lee and her and Cheryl went
right over to pick her up. Madeline had her vet open up (thanks Susie).
She stayed there Sunday night and Susie did blood work and treated her
for the worms. Madeline picked her up again
... and
took her over to Gentle Care. She's been picked up by her foster home
now. They have been getting some weight on her and she'll be spayed on
12-7. She will still be to fragile to begin her HW treatment.
By the beginning of the year when she has more weight on and has
recovered from her from spay we are hopeful she can begin her hw
treatment. She should be ready for a "forever" home by
mid February 2010.
Adoption Process
My name is Toto and I'm 6 years old. If you are a pug lover then I'm the guy for you! My owner was in the hospital and passed away. I was left at the vet for a couple of weeks until the family called Pug Rescue and they came and picked me up. I was about 40 lbs.... at that time. I was an "only" Pug and enjoyed sitting in my owner's lap eating yogurt every night. My foster Mom has cut back on my food and takes me for longs walks. Between that and playing with my foster pug siblings I've lost a good amount of weight. I'm a well behaved and healthy boy, up to date on all of my shots and I'm house trained.
